Favourite Places .......

The famous place of Mahalasa, known in the south by the name Mallari; the place of Yoges'vari Varat, and the widely known place of Nila S'arasvati in China. The excellent place of Bagala in Baidyanath, the supreme place Manidvipa of S'rimati Bhuvanes'vari where I always reside. The Yonimandala Kamakhya, the place of S'rimati Tripura Bhariavi, the excellent of all the places in this earth, where the Devi Maha Maya always dwells.
Mahalasa is the Mohini avatar of Lord Vishnu. She is also known as Mhalshi and Mahalasa. In Goa and elsewhere, Mahalasa is considered as the Mohini form of Lord Vishnu and hence she is referred to as "Mahalasa Narayani". The deity, it may particularly be noted, also wears the holy thread, which is its unique feature. This holy thread is only worn by Brahmin men and also the male gods. No other goddess in the Hindu Pantheon wears this kind of thread except goddess Mahalasa.
When the Amrut was obtained by churning of the ocean by the Devas and Danavas, a fight broke between them to claim it. In order to help the gods, Lord Vishnu took the Mohiniavatar (form of an enchantress). As a beautiful Damsel, Lord Vishnu took hold of the Jar of Amrut and served it to the devas. This Mohini form of Lord Vishnu is worshipped by the Hindus as the Goddess Mahalasa Narayani. Some believe that the main temple of Goddess was originally located in Nepal during the Kaliyuga. She was moved to Aurangabad inMaharashtra. During the Mughal domination, Aurangabad fell under the Muslim rule and the idol was moved to a secret location in Goa. Later, a small temple was built at Verna. Roughly, a few hundred years later, the Portuguese conquered Goa, and the temple was moved to Mardol.
Nila saraswati, in China is quite a controversial one for mankind. Some have attempted to separate the Hindu Tara from the Tibetan Tara, but there is little doubt that She is the same Devi. This is shown in a reference to Tara in the Hindu Tantrarajatantra, where Her mantra is given as Om Tare Tuttare Ture Svaha -- identical to the Tibetan version. Here Tara takes her form as Kurukulla.
The various other forms are given in Brihad Nila Tantra and Devirahasya, under the names Nilasarasvati, Aniruddha Sarasvati, Ugra Tara, Tarini. Nilasarasvati gives as the fruit of worshipping Her poesy and eloquence. This, aside from clearly relating Nilasarasvati to White Sarasvati, also points to this Goddess being the Shakti of the Letters of the Alphabet, the Matrika Shakti.
The bagala temple in baidyanath is inthe district of Deoghar lies in the North-Eastern Part of the state of Jharkhand in Santhal Pargana. Deoghar is famous as the cultural capital of Jharkhand. This place has served as the source of inspiration for literary excellence, profound philosophers, thinkers, poets and artists. There are 23 other temples to see in this regions. It is four hours from bagalpur.
Worship of the Mother Goddess and related Tantra-based rituals have their endless fount atop the Nilachal Hills: the sacred shrine of Sri Sri Kamakhya. Situated on the southern banks o f the Louhitya, known as the mighty river Brahmaputra, these hills are part of the metropolis of Guwahati, the capital city of Assam. Situated within these hills are the temples of the Dasamahavidya, Anga Devata, and other temples dedicated to various deities. Mention of this Shakti temple of Kamakhya is found in Bhagavatas, Puranas, several of the Tantras, and many other ancient Scriptures.
According to mythology, Lord Siva in HIS frenzied grief carried the lifeless body of his consort Sati on his shoulders, and Vishnu dismembered the body with his Sudarshan Chakra. The Yoni (genitalia) of Sati fell on the hill, representing the body of Siva, which turned blue (nila). Thus the hills became the Nilasailya or Nilachal Hills. The temple is said to have been originally built surrounding the Yonimandala by Kamdeva with the help of Biswakarma, and is a symbol of great veneration and is regarded as a source of divine power and influence. Different modes of Shakti puja of the Tantric path are centered around this symbol, which projects the very essence of the creative process of the universe.
There is no other place better than this on the earth. Here the Devi comes every month in Her course of menstruation and where the virtuous men are seen. Here all the Devas remain in the form of mountains and where on the mountains the excellent Devas inhabit. The sages say: That all the places there are of the nature of the Devi; there is no better place than this Kamakhya Yonimaindala. Puskara, the sacred place, is the seat of Gayatri.
Her main temple, the Tripura sundari temple is located on top of the hills near Radhakishorepur village, a little distance away from Udaipur town.Kashmir pundits have a collection of five ancient hymns, collectively known as Panchastavi.
